Barton Scout Group
The Scout group in Barton is thriving - for boys and girls. Beavers are from 6 to 8 years, Cubs from 8 to 10 Scouts from 10 to 14 and Explorers from 14 to 18.
Beavers meet Thursdays, Cubs Wednesdays and Scouts Mondays.
We need more adult volunteers so please let us know if you can help.

Guide Picture
Barton Girlguiding is run by a dedicated team of volunteers. At present there is a Rainbow unit (5-7 years) which meets on Saturdays (once a month); 3 Brownie packs (7-10 years) which meet, Monday, Tuesday & Fridays; a Guide unit (10-14 years) which meets on Thursdays; a Ranger unit (14-18 years) which meets fortnightly on Thursdays. There's always room for more volunteers as most of the units have waiting lists much of the time.

Yoga Classes In Barton
Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that is known to improve physical health and well-being. Yoga combines awareness of the breath with a variety of physical exercises to increase strength, flexibility and balance to improve posture and general health and fitness.
Unity hall is clean, spacious and flooded with natural light and provides a peaceful location for yoga practice. Mats are available if you don't have your own and other equipment is provided if necessary. Students of all abilities are welcome to join regardless of experience, age or flexibility. Classes are held on Tuesday evening at 8pm and Friday - morning at 9.30am & afternoon at 2pm.
